Join us (and Gov. Peter Shumlin!) at the Randolph Elementary School on October 26th, from 6-8pm for an evening of food, dancing, and Farm to School fundraising! Our community meal will feature handcrafted soups, bread baked by the children, and an ice cream extravaganza. The cost is $8/person, $20/family, and includes take-home pottery bowls. All proceeds from the meal will be used to purchase local, grass-fed beef for our Farm-to-School cafeteria program. The evening will also feature a vibrant farmers market with over a dozen local farms offering veggies, meats, breads, canned goods, and much more! Live music will be performed by Peter and Mary Alice Amidon (amidonmusic.com) and Beth Telford and Alyssa Miller, fiddlers. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, agricultural activities, and lots of information about our local farms. Interested in SUPPORTING the Randolph Community? We are offering two opportunities to do so from now till Christmas. The first is a FOOD DRIVE to support the Randolph Area Food Shelf. The drive will begin on 10.27 and run through 11.21. Bring $10 worth of non perishable food items to the restaurant and receive a $10 voucher for food at the Krim.
The second will begin after Thanksgiving and will run till 12.22. It will be a TOY DRIVE. Same concept. Bring a toy of $10 value to restaurant and receive a $10 food voucher. THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ANTICIPATION OF SUPPORT FOR THESE TWO EVENTS!
